Hello You.

It is with great regret that I announce this page closed as a blog.

Time constraints have limited me from contributing anything over these past few months, so it seems sensible to cease posting for the time being.

Look out for the occasional flyer, toon or video which may be hastily slapped onto the page, and of course continue to visit my toon page @ Deviant Art. A new podcast will be posted during December...

So long folks...

Oh dear...

Luton 3-1 Charlton (aet)

League One Luton knocked Championship Charlton out of the Carling Cup thanks to extra-time goals from Matthew Spring and Drew Talbot.

The visitors were ahead after four minutes when Dean Sinclair bundled in.

But Steve Robinson brought Luton level with a stunning volley after David Bell's corner had been headed clear.

Ex-Watford midfielder Spring completed the turnaround, heading in Darren Currie's cross on 105 minutes, before Talbot wrapped up the win.

Oh dear oh dear...

Man Utd 0-2 Coventry

Michael Mifsud celebrates
Mifsud is congratulated after Coventry's opener
Championship side Coventry sprung a major surprise by sending a re-shuffled Manchester United crashing out of the Carling Cup at Old Trafford.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson changed his entire team from Sunday's win against Chelsea and paid the price.

Coventry, backed by 11,000 fans, went ahead after 27 minutes when Michael Mifsud turned in Michael Doyle's cross.

And Mifsud killed off United with 20 minutes left, firing high into the net after Jay Tabb fashioned an opening.
